Are your glass shelves strong enough for my equipment?

All the glass components we use in our furniture are toughened safety glass conforming to British Standard BS6206A. The maximum recommended weight tolerance of our 10mm safety glass shelves is 30Kg per shelf.

Can I rearrange the shelf order in a STAX?

Can I rearrange the shelf order in a STAX Hi-Fi Stand?

Yes, it is possible to rearrange the levels in a STAX Hi-Fi Stand to any possible configuration.

Can I request different shelf heights?

Can I request different shelf heights to your standard configurations?

Yes. All our stands are available for with custom configured shelf heights. Just visit the BLOK Custom Shop for more information.

Can I add further levels to my STAX at a later date?

Can I add further levels to my STAX at a later date if I need to? 

Yes, but given that we use real wood natural veneers, there could be some variation in the wood finish between the old blocks and the new level. 

Can I order custom wood finishes, colours or sizes?

Can I order a STAX-Hi Stand in different wood finishes or bespoke custom colours and sizes?

We no longer offer any kind of  full service bespoke versions of our stands.

Instead, we now offer to help customers source the components for a bespoke stand themselves.

What this means is that when a customer wants either custom widths, custom depths, non-standard heights or a custom finish, we will assist you in the process of finding the components we cannot supply as part of our standard specifications.

Is your furniture self-assembly or delivered assembled?

Our Hi-Fi Stands have been designed and manufactured for simple self-assembly. The BLOK 'Form Follows Function' design philosophy means that components are modular and the assembly process is extemely intuitive. 

Although we have designed the assembly process to be straightforward, and have taken great care in compiling our assembly instructiuons, there are a number of resources to assist you in assembling your furniture. Please refer to the support centre for more help.

Do your Hi-Fi stands come with acoustic spikes?

We do not supply acoustic spikes with our Hi-fi stands, however they can be fitted. The racks are constructed with M8 threaded rods, which have floor height adjusters fitted as standard, but can be replaced with 8mm screw-on acoustic spikes.

Please note, the STAX Hi-Fi Stand is heavy, and some acoustic spikes may cause floor damage. We recommend using the supplied floor height adjusters. In sound testing, the floor height adjusters were judged to perform better [What Hi-Fi June 2010].

Which payment methods do you accept?

Online, we accept Mastercard & Visa credit cards, and most bank debit cards.

We also accept PayPal.

We can accept American Express, but we need to issue an invoice from our merchant account at PayPal.

We do accept payments by telephone for credit card & debit card. 

We can  also accept BACS bank transfers. Please contact us to discuss.

We use PayPal Website Payments Pro as our merchant payment gateway, so all credit card and debit card transactions taking place on our website are actually being processed by PayPal with their industry-leading encryption and fraud prevention tools.
Furthermore, our website is entirely https encrypted. You will notice the https in the address bar of your browser, along with a green padlock that states our name: "BLOK Hi-Fi Stands (Zeitwarp Limited) [GB]."
These are the details on our SSL certificate. SSl stands for "Secure Scokets Layer": SSL creates an encrypted connection between our web server and your web browser allowing for private information to be transmitted without the problems of eavesdropping, data tampering, or message forgery.
We do not store any credit card details on our servers.
Do you accept American Express?

Do you accept American Express?

Yes ...and no. Unfortunately, our merchant gateway provider [PayPal] will not process Amex card payments online. However,  there is a workaround in that we can issue an invoice from PayPal that can be paid by credit card, debit card American Express and even PayPal itself!

So, if you want to pay by Amex, then please contact us with your order and we will issue the invoice by email for payment. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Are your products all in stock?

All Hifi and AV furniture available to purchase on our website is in stock and ready for next day dispatch [to the UK mainland].

Occasionally an item will be listed as 'stock coming' or will only be available to buy on a pre-order basis. This will be clearly stated at the time of purchase, and delivery estimates will be indicated.

We have existing customers from Japan in the Far East, all the way to the California and the Pacific West Coast of America.

International shipping options are available from this site, however, please note that our 7 Day Quality Guarantee may not apply in some territories.

We guarantee all of our AV furniture against any functional manufacturing defect for 5 years under our BLOK Solid guarantee.
We also offer a 7 Day Quality Guarantee on our standard ranges. We believe you will be delighted with your BLOK AV Furniture, however, not everyone is comfortable ordering on the internet, so we offer a 7 day no quibble quality guarantee.

Do you supply to retailers or other trade partners?

Yes, we do supply trade retail partners under the BLOK Retail Partner Program. If you are interested in becoming a trade partner then please visit our trade partner portal.

Do you have a showroom?

Do you have a showroom I can visit to see and buy your furniture?

No, we no longer have a physical showroom. We are an internet business supported by a warehousing and distribution operation. Despite having a well-established reputation for both design and build quality, we understand that some customers prefer to visit a showroom. In consideration of this,  we offer a 7 Day  Quality Returns Guarantee on all our furniture so that customers can buy with confidence. Equally, we are growing a small network of retail partners who will display and supply our furniture to potential customers.
